The cry for help of the janitors: Bread and Roses analysis

The problem seems typical, most of the time we saw injustice among us, it`s very frequent. But it's still a cause which is worth to fight and that brings us to the Bread and Roses movie, based on the movement "Justice For Janitors" which took place in Los Angeles.

I think the movie itself did a great job when it comes to clarifying the struggle of the janitor for, in the first place, their condition of illegal inmigrants and second their bad treatment of their employers who didn't give them health care and enough wage to survive, meanwhile they enjoy the profits of that questionable action.

But the movie doesn't give a total closure of the situation, when it ends i think that the context still has these loose ends which makes you wonder what happens later, but maybe was for the short gap between the protests and the movie itself. So, I will call this a quick-rush movie considering the context.

when it comes to the characters I think that they represent the most accurate that they can the janitors who participate in the protests. But if I have to choose one of them i would choose Rosa for the impact of her story even though she betrays her co-workers she does for a more complex reason than have their job, she does it because she didn't trust in anyone she doesn't believe that the movement could work.

My favorite scene was the robbery of the gas station. Maybe this scene has bad consequences for Maya, the main character, but I have to admit when I saw for the first time I laugh and I still think that was a very good comic relief.
